I got in my car, and the temperature read 23 degrees - obvs it had been in the sun, but it levelled out at 19!

It's fucking February! Love it!

Is this a NW London phenomenon, or are you all basking in it?

I had on a jacket & was sweating like a glassblower's arse!

@BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou I’m in SE London and at 1pm my car was registering 10 degrees (sat in full sun all morning). It was showing 2 degrees at 7am.

Mine was reading 23 in full sun! We're opposite sides of London, but bloody hell!

A cool 20 max here in my part of the middle east today. Most of the locals had their wooly hats and winter jackets on. Low of 16.
Going to get to 24 on Sat.
This is good weather!!!!

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 14/02/2019 16:58

-18 where I am. Having a bit of a cold snap

TheFaerieQueene · 14/02/2019 17:00

It is lovely in West London too.

dontcallmelen · 14/02/2019 17:00

Another one in south east London, was a beautiful day bright blue sky no clouds & quite warm in the sun, think I was about 14deg noticed lots of daffs/snowdrops peeping through as well.

Grace212 · 14/02/2019 17:02

OP another one here who will have surprising sun on birthday - I literally cannot think of a time in my life that that happened.

I'm loving this mild weather, if it really is the end of winter it would be very good for my elderly mum, who finds today merely "less cold" bless her.

Juanbablo · 14/02/2019 17:24

It's 11 degrees here in Reading but I'm cold. Sat outside as ds1 is playing football.

Aridane · 14/02/2019 18:46

bugger - where are you in SE London?

When I went out mid / late afternoon in SE16, it was a lovely 15 degrees!

Glitterstream · 14/02/2019 20:06

I’m in SE London and it was 1 degree and thick frost on car when I left home at 8am. I didn’t go outside again until 4:30 but then I had my thick winter coat on and didn’t feel at all warm.

Where are these weird mini bubbles of tropical weather!!

Aridane · 14/02/2019 20:13

SE16, 3.30pm

Grace212 · 14/02/2019 20:13

I've been in Essex and North London today, maybe sarf of the river didn't get the warmth?

it was thick frost this morning though. I've even seen one daytime temp of 14 for tomorrow, then -2 at night!

like being in Palm Springs. Well, okay, not quite.....

LilQuim · 14/02/2019 22:11
