What would you choose; a year's supply of Pringles or a year's supply of Mini Cheddars ? Two rules, you may only have one flavour of either and you may not have six months of Pringles then six months of Mini Cheddars.

I will go for a year's worth of original MCs.

Great. I'm glad I asked Wink.

Salt and vinegar Pringles. I'm sure they've got more vinegar-y lately, it's great!

Raspberry88 · 12/02/2019 20:43

Definitely a years supply of sour cream and onion pringles...no contest!

Prawn pringles!

WhoWants2Know · 12/02/2019 20:49

Smoked cheddar OR barbecue mini cheddars. Or almost any mini cheddar rather than a Pringle.

SweetPeaPods · 12/02/2019 20:50

Original MC here!

remainymcremainface · 12/02/2019 20:58

Paprika pringles

HumberElla · 12/02/2019 21:07

No way pringles! I love the first 10 individual pringles but then I’ve had enough. Also the flavour is concentrated on one side, so if you accidentally eat one the wrong way up, you don’t get the same hit.
Now mini cheddars otoh I could eat all day long. Original please.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 12/02/2019 21:43

Classic Pringles. Original flavor.

Now, I need something to lick...

BeachtheButler · 12/02/2019 21:59

Mini cheddars - Pringles are vile.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 12/02/2019 22:02

Green Pringles. When they autopsied my corpse one month later, they would find every artery blocked with solid Pringle.

36degrees · 12/02/2019 22:03

Mini Cheddars all year long, please

Meet0nTheledge · 12/02/2019 22:04

Salt and vinegar Pringles, no contest.

AlexaAmbidextra · 13/02/2019 02:11

MC. I had some Pringles recently, first time in years and they seem to have changed and not for the better. They had lost that lovely crispness and tasted a bit odd. I suspect they’ve switched to palm oil. ☹️

BasiliskStare · 13/02/2019 04:10

@HumberElla - now this is something I didn't even know I had to worry about but now I may have to "Also the flavour is concentrated on one side, so if you accidentally eat one the wrong way up, you don’t get the same hit."

Is this the same as someone who once said you could eat weetabix the wrong way up ? Grin

I am going to make DH and DS do a special tasting of Pringles to see if there is actually a wrong way up to eat them Grin

But to answer OP's question - sour cream pringles every time.

StellaMorris · 13/02/2019 04:19

Pringles, green tube - sour cream and onion.

lljkk · 13/02/2019 04:26

yuck. I loathe pringles. plain MC fine

HeronLanyon · 13/02/2019 04:53

Mini cheddars. Pringles make me feel sick after a few - think is the oil. Actually love mini cheddars so no hardship there.

sashh · 13/02/2019 05:29

I don't like pringles so original MC for me.

BibbityBobbityEars · 13/02/2019 07:16

MC because I don’t like them. I would give them away.

I have no restraint when it comes to Pringles and would eat them all within a week and then regret it.

HoraceCope · 13/02/2019 07:19

Mini cheddars ,
Pringles a bit sickly

wellhellothereall · 13/02/2019 07:19

Pringle bbq

IndigoSpritz · 13/02/2019 07:39

I hope the creators of Pringles and all-kinds-of Cheddars still own the rights. Given their popularity on here alone, they represent huge achievements. And wealth, hopefully.

This thread has taught me a great deal.

I am a regular purchaser of the Mini Cheddar. Usually when they are on offer - a quid for 6 pack - straight in the trolley they go.

(My kids are the Pringles fans. Not me. There is something about the texture I'm not too keen on).

And like a previous poster I do like to sandwich the two mini cheddars with a chunk of real cheddar in between. That's a meal in itself. Trust me.

I was also introduced to the Red Leicester Mini Cheddar, by my aforementioned Pringle loving daughter and I fell in love with it. It has a singularly pungent cheesy tang that the regular Mini Cheddar lacks.

But on this thread there are several references to a 'Branston Pickle Mini Cheddar'. What is this? This is not something I even knew about.

So a googling I went and it seems there are also Stilton Mini Cheddars, and Applewood Smoked Mini Cheddars and someone even posted about a BBQ Mini Cheddar (I was convinced they were wrong and had got their MCs muddled up with their Ps) and they were right!

Thank you Mumsnet, thank you fellow posters, I am now going to seek out all these new and exciting flavours and if a thread such as this re-occurs I shall be far better informed.

Halo

Aren't there salt and vinegar ones in the multipacks too?
