OMG YES to DRAKE. What a horrible, dull, boring, monotonous voice he has. How the FECK has he managed to be such a massive seller?!

Ditto George Ezra. Horrid horrid voice.

Cardi B, shitty Nicki Minaj wannabe (and even Minaj is shit too, so we don't need anyone copying her!)

Sam Smith - sounds like a trumpet.

I quite like Coldplay & Phil Collins. Phew. I suspect i'll be indulged with them for a long time to come.

I gag on Stevie Nix, Meatloaf and ALL country music.

ToEarlyForDecorations · 13/02/2019 22:00

Ed Sheeran. (I've nicknamed Heart Radio Ed Sheeran FM, their mantra must be, 'never let more than 90 minutes go by without playing an Ed Sheeran Song)

Pink - great artist but if I hear, 'What about us' one more time I WILL scream.

Olly Murrs - best performance by a squeaky toy

Wetdogloveshubert · 13/02/2019 22:03

Coldplay
Ed Sheeran
Drake

toomanyofthemnow · 13/02/2019 22:08

Anyone who warbles and uses 27 different notes when singing one word. Stick to the tune ffs.

Anyone who wails and screeches aka chalk on a blackboard.

Anyone who whines and whinges esp if they also wield an acoustic guitar.

Sakura7 · 13/02/2019 22:11

Maroon 5
Cheryl whatever her name is this week
James Blunt

PsychedelicSheep · 13/02/2019 22:27

Glad to see the mutual Jess Glynne annoyance. I can't bear her voice, it's so grating 😖 and her songs are all shite too, how on earth she got to be so successful is completely beyond me!

PsychedelicSheep · 13/02/2019 22:36

Honestly I think discounting a whole varied genre of music like rap is ridiculous, there's so many different artists and styles and it's evolved so much over time, from something that spoke to a particular section of society to the biggest selling musical genre there is.

And there's so much clever word play, and it's just so creative and inclusive. I don't like all rap (not a fan of trap for example) but to write off the whole lot?!

It's very silly and actually a little racist.

BestestBrownies · 13/02/2019 22:46

HOW is there only ONE vote for the godawful arsecrack Nickelback?!?

My remaining votes go to U2 and Robbie Williams. Irritating wankers with utterly shite music. How either of them are so popular and successful I do not know.

And voting for Tears For Fears? You absolute heathen! They were AMAZING live at the Royal Albert Hall. Brilliant songs with lyrics that are still relevant over 30 years later.

OutOntheTilez · 14/02/2019 04:34

Oh, MissLane, not Tears for Fears! Sad Saw them in New Jersey a couple of years ago for the first time with my sons and husband. Truly a fantastic concert. They have always had such a sophisticated sound. "Songs from the Big Chair" was the soundtrack to my summer of '85.

On my list:

Bon Jovi
Guns N' Roses
Bruce Springsteen

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 14/02/2019 19:06

Sorry BestestBrownies and OutOntheTilez it's their voices I hate not so much their music or lyrics. As a matter of fact, I love Gary Jules version of Mad World. It's one of my favourite songs! Smile

In regards to the awful, Nickleback, I just forgot about them! HA! Grin

EastMidsGPs · 14/02/2019 20:00

I'd like to add Paloma Faith to my list please
Not only does she sound like a screeching banshee, she's now taken to turning up on TV adverts. Just.Stop.

greendale17 · 14/02/2019 20:06

REM
Ariana Grande
Bryan Adams
