Left dosing ball in drying cycle (on high) - do I need to re-wash stuff?

I left the dosing ball in the drying cycle of my washer-dryer (on the 'high' heat programme), for about 30 mins.

The dosing ball has come out a bit squished/bent.

The instructions say you should always remove the dosing ball before the drying cycle.

Would you re-wash your stuff (in this case DC's towels) out of concern that they might now have invisible residues of melted plastic on them?

Nope.

Ringsender2 · 11/02/2019 23:04

No, I really wouldn't.

Confused
Furrycushion · 11/02/2019 23:07

No, the instruction is due to damaging the ball, not the clothes!

sackrifice · 11/02/2019 23:07

Fuck. I don't even have a 'dosing ball'.

Dothehappydance · 11/02/2019 23:08

Many a time mine has ended up in the tumble dryer. I think nothing more than how daft I was as I push it back into shape.

Wot........

NameyMcNameChange1 · 11/02/2019 23:12

What do you think ‘invisible residues of melted plastic’ are likely to do to your dc?

BoundlessSea · 11/02/2019 23:12

Ok, thanks all
