after doing the obvious things like buying houses/holidays/whatever etc for you and your nearest and dearest.

I think I would set up a scholarship fund, for secondary through to uni - to help people get education/support that may otherwise be denied.

Subsidise as many renewable/sustainable energy producers as possible. Fund research into global warming and its reversal/prevention. Set up scholarships to support undergraduates - especially those from developing countries - going into the sciences (and the arts if I was really that rich).

On top of houses for my nearest and dearest I'd also get the best health care for my lovely Uncle and Auntie,they've always been there for me all of my life and for my children's and my DH's and my Brothers and now they're both very ill I'd love to get them the best health care money could buy to make them feel better and give them a better quality of life and I'd do the same for my big brother and me(all 4 of us are ill and disabled)I'd buy my other Aunties house for her and have it done up for her to her taste and I'd employ a driver for her(she never learned to drive and now my poor lovely Uncle has passed away she finds it harder to get out and about)my other Auntie and Uncle I'd book them a once in a lifetime trip that they'd love and I'd pay of they're mortgage,they're lovely and they've constantly buffered my cousin with money even though he's a grown man with a good job.

For my best friend,I'd get her her dream home,I'd pay for her to take her driving lessons,test and buy her a nice car(she's only 43 and she's just lost her DH)and I'd set up an account that would cover everything she,her 3 stepdaughters and 2 Grandchildren could ever want.

My nephews and nieces I'd set them up all accounts(they're all adults)and I'd set up accounts for when they're DC(my great Nephews and Great Nieces)turned 18 and then again when they turned 21 and then again when they turned 25.

I'd set up my own charity that would help with education for adults,housing,counselling,stuff for they're homes,help for pets,help with food and paying they're bills.
