Thinking about coming over in May for 2 nights to see Game of Thrones exhibition and also the Titanic one.
Any good hotels you recommend nearby? We will be flying in and then taxi-ing .
What else should we do? Recommendations for good food too!

See the crumlin road gaol if you can . Not sure about the hotels havent stayed in one in the city centre. Plenty of great places to eat and drink. Try the cathedral quarter .

Hi, I live in Belfast, although not originally from here.
The bus tour is quite good, covers lots of places (including stop at Titanic museum) but goes on a bit at 2.5 hours.
There is a brilliant museum in Cultra-10/15 mins in a taxi from city centre. It is lovely, recreated village, farms etc, Irish history. Also has a lovely Titanic exhibition will actual artefacts from the ship.
Avoca for lunch and gifts! Its yum x 1000. Has two areas, one more casual for food.
Noble in Holywood, again 10 mins in taxi from city centre and the food is AMAZING!! Book now.

We stayed in the Malmaison.

The Titanic museum is superb and we really enjoyed the bus tour (never done one of these before and was very pleasantly surprised).

The Botanical Gardens and the museum there were really good too. The museum had a huge Game of Thrones tapestry.

Fly into Belfast city, not international airport!
Though there is a bus that brings you from yu international airport into the city centre.

Malmaison is lovely, there's lots of hotels though. Set your budget and look em up on last-minute I reckon

The botanical gardens are like a mini Kew gardens! Very nice, and queens university is right beside it, which is nice buildings

Where -ish are you travelling from?
Belfast is tiny! If you are used to London, it is teeny. You can walk across it in about half an hour.

Stay in the Grand Central Hotel, in the centre is new and really lovely. Deanes Deli for lunch / dinner (and it’s literally opposite) is fab.

You’ll have to try the crown bar for Guinness and oysters

Or if you want to push the boat out you could stay in the Merchant, which is also in the centre and very very luxurious
