Anyone good with interiors? Does this look okay in DD's room?

DD has begged me to buy her some polka dot wall stickers for her room. They are spread evenly from ceiling to wall in my younger DD's room and match her decor nicely. I didn't like the idea of them in DD1's room because her theme is more floral but I've bought them anyway and stuck them up since she wants them so much.

Does it look silly? Do you think I need to ditch her current throw/cushions/fairy lights and maybe get her a grey/silver soft throw & some new cushions. Also really unsure what to put on the wall at the head of her bed so would be grateful for any advice on that also? We are in army married quarters so painting is out of the question for now and I also don't like to spend much incase we move.

Thanks.

Stickers are a great idea for married quarters...just make sure they're down before the pre-march out as the inspection guys can be really irritating about them (voice of experience).

In the interests of not having to go round filling holes in, I wouldn't bother with anything on the wall above the headboard but I would consider a grey throw yes maybe with a metallic or satiny shiny weave through it and maybe a new lampshade if you can stretch to that.

If you are on Facebook there is a closed group called "Ideas for brightening up married quarters" which is full of top tips and helpful hints to make a quarter feel less utilitarian. Worth a look.

Thank you... I'll have a look on that Facebook page Smile

How about some bunting or fairy lights for that wall. Would only need to be pinned at the ends right in the corner of the room.

Aw, I think her room looks lovely as it is.
