Was meant to be meeting a friend for coffee and a walk. Had to pop home after school run to pick up changing bag for DS2. In the two minutes I was occupied with checking I had spare clothes for him etc he has somehow managed to hide my keys so well that I’m still stumped an hour later. Car and house keys so a big bunch as well! He can’t reach the letterbox to post them outside, I’ve looked under the sofa and chairs, in all accessible bags, in the bookcase, in his toyboxes. Any other ideas?!

My toddler is forever hiding stuff - my phone, the remote control, my purse and removing my bank card and hiding thatHmm.

I've recently started taking the remote control and my phone with me to stop her hiding it then coming back into the room and searching all over for them before remembering that I've actually put them in a "safe" place Blush.

Haven't seen my Sky remote for 24 hours now!

The remote! Had to download a remote app as haven’t seen the TV one since before xmas. No clue what she’s done with it!

When I was a toddler I remember hiding keys in my toy crib under the dolly's duvet

Hope this helps!

Tip for getting young children to tell you where they've hidden stuff:

Adult: "Where didn't you put my keys?"

Child: "I didn't put them under the sofa!" (They're under the sofa.)

Worked on quite a few occasions for me.
