I've been up an hour put a wash on and now heading to work. Feels like I'm the only person awake at this hour on a Sunday.

Kids and DH are still snoring.

Once I get home tea, uniforms and bed might try and squeeze in a film with the kids.

Getting ready to ride to pub for lunch with the girls so it will be most of the daylight hours. Just getting dinner prepared for my partner to put in once she gets home and the girls are feeding all the animals before we go

LeonoraFlorence · 03/02/2019 09:20

DH and DDs had a swim this morning. Still lots of snow so taking girls skiing again. Already on the way. Meeting BILs and SILs with their DC and my dad. Babies will stay with my mum. Think we will all go back to my parents for a takeaway afterwards. I hope everyone enjoys their day!

LeonoraFlorence · 03/02/2019 09:21

SimplyPut, that sounds lovely and relaxing. Hope you enjoy Smile.

Crunchymum · 03/02/2019 09:34

Cinema in an hour with 6yo and 4yo to see How To Train Your Dragon 3 (we all love the other films!)

Then to the in-laws for late lunch. Will be home by 6ish so time for baths, snack, reading and bed.

coffeeagogo · 03/02/2019 09:37

DH is away on hols, so chilled breakfast - girls are watching cartoons and I am mumsnetting, then going to an indoor ski centre with the kids, have a church related thing this afternoon then booked the cinema in the early evening for a treat for DD1 who is obsessed with how to train your dragon and then might go for a cheeky Nando’s before home for baths and uniforms.

Asta19 · 03/02/2019 09:47

I’m relaxing in bed with a coffee. I have a Skype call planned with my DS, who has moved to Japan. I miss him a lot but video calls make it seem like he’s not so far away. Then I have some chores to do. Will probably fit in some relaxation time too. I work from home so no Sunday night prep, which is one of the best parts of it!

lucysmam · 03/02/2019 09:52

I'm going to get dressed for work shortly. Hopefully it'll be more relaxed than yesterday, which was manic, even though it is back to back appointments.

Dd2 is upstairs watching tv atm. She's off to nanna's to join dd1 for a while then their dad will bring them back here for tea time. Hopefully he'll listen to her read & remind her her homework says it needs copying out into her book.

When I get in; pork loin steaks for tea, pack ups to make, I'll bake brownies with dd2, and we'll sort uniforms/bags for the morning.

HeyMicky · 03/02/2019 10:02

Nothing! I have a stinking cold and am still in PJs. DH has taken the kids to swimming, but after that it's just laundry and lolling about today. PILs are coming for supper but DH is doing the roast so nothing for me to do.

DH is away all next week and most of the next, though, so I'm taking the time off where I can get it

happystory · 03/02/2019 10:05

Been to gym. Beautiful tho cold day here today. DH and I will go for a walk round a nearby lake later. Catch up on Les Mis and roast chicken later.

Jolonglegs · 03/02/2019 10:07

Sorting out washing: why do we generate so much? Then I've persuaued DP to take me out for lunch. DD is coming round later with her partner for tea, so need to think about what to give them. They're both vegetarian and thinking about being vegan, which would make making meals interesting as DP likes meat and I'm pescatarian.
Important meeting at work tomorrow. so need to make sure I'm on top of my game. Now where is that smart blouse?

MegaClutterSlut · 03/02/2019 10:23

Stripping the walls which I bloody hate doing washing and having a roast for dinner later

Didiusfalco · 03/02/2019 10:27

@flatpackbox that’s so lovely of you Flowers

We’re all recovering from colds here. I’ll probably cook some Bolognese and then carry on tidying the house as we’re planning to get it on the market.

Bubba1234 · 03/02/2019 10:34

I got up and took a wheatgrass shot.
Im looking up the benefits there seems to be conflicting opinions online about it.
Only thing I know is I felt so fresh after and could go to the toilet lol..
I’m in bed now but guna get up in a bit and do the floors, clothes and batch cook for the week.
Then give the kitchen a good deep clean.
Il go to the gym this evening then come home and watch tv/read and have an early night.
Hoping for a productive week Smile

HelmutFrontbut · 03/02/2019 11:04

Had a lovely long lie in this morning, drinking coffee in bed and snuggling with the cats. Weather is glorious so planning a walk along the beach later followed by a couple of Wine later in the pub for a friend's birthday...cheers!

Connieston · 03/02/2019 11:09

We've only just had breakfast and are still in PJ's. I'm back in bed with tea and boys pottering. We'll walk up the high street later to get some bits and source some things for eldest sons homework project. I'd like to do a roast but will see what Aldi have on offer. Really hope I can motivate myself to clean out the back room as I've a chest freezer arriving tomorrow and if I don't it'll have to perch on top of a big pile of washing!

flatpackbox · 03/02/2019 11:10

Didiusfalco, anyone would have offered if they had seen her. The sight of this little old lady and her dutiful dog melts my heart whenever I see them.

After talking to her I learned that she is 90 and in sheltered accommodation, she is amazing.

The dog sees me as ‘fun’. It is so lovely to see her play and go mad.

Bonus that I get an extra walk myself in all this! My own dog has been a bit stiff in the cold this week so is on reduced length walks.

HollySwift · 03/02/2019 11:11

DS2 at a party all day, pretty much. DS1 has tidied his room and is watching now tv. DS2 just relaxing, DD is having her monthly YouTube fix.
DH is wandering around looking lost because I haven’t told him what to do 🙄 I’m going to suggest he takes them out and get the washing done in peace watching Netflix true crime shit

confusedofengland · 03/02/2019 11:13

Had a bit of a lie-in with DH Wink
Got up, had breakfast
DH & DS1 (10) gone off to football 100 miles away, taking a friend of DS1. Car wouldn't start Shock but got there after half an hour & jump-starting. Relieved because we are skint so can't afford a new one!
I am left with DS2 (7, ASC), DS3 (4) & no car. So we are walking to the playpark in a bit, then stop in at my parents' house for lunch.
Then home & do some baking, only 1 egg, but should be OK
Then reading/spelling/Mathletics/Bug Club homework
Then showers & hopefully DH & DS1 will be home (around 7pm)

CakeNinja · 03/02/2019 11:16

Went to the gym first thing and then a quick sauna. If I’m being honest, I only went to the gym to justify laying about in the sauna for a while Grin
Home now, I’m going to clear out my underwear drawer and have a sort through the bathroom cupboard and have a bit of a declutter.
Will change my bedding and make the dc do their washing.
Typical Sunday really.

QueenMabby · 03/02/2019 11:19

Not much happening here. DH has taken DS to a hockey match. 3hr round trip so not expecting them back for a while! DD and I have made banana muffins and she’s now finishing off some homework. I’m going to get off my arse (and MN) and go and put the ironing away and potter around doing some jobs.
Roast planned for when the boys get back and DD has a school event this evening. Not much else. It’s a rare lazy weekend for us!

n0ne · 03/02/2019 11:58

Started off the day sorting through the mountain of kids' (DDs 6 and 1.5) clothes to remove the too-small items. Stopped for lunch, just getting the baby down for her nap, then I'll be going into town for groceries and to pick up some kind of storage solution for the more modest mound of wearable clothes.

Destiel · 03/02/2019 12:05

Been up with ds1 on and off all night as he has this virus that's going around.

So lazy day here.

Did some yoga.

Put some laundry on.

Made ds1 some pancakes as it was all he fancied.

Made flapjacks - ditto.

Just put chicken in the oven for lunch. Will need to prep veg soon.

Might go for a walk to mums later on but its soooooo cold out there ❄

Will put another load of laundry on later.

Think that's it for today.

kindlyplay · 03/02/2019 12:08

I'm going to collect some money I am due for jobs last week. My next move will probably be spending it.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 03/02/2019 12:14

Love to read what others are up toSmile
I've just sorted a Pilates course for me and my DD paid for by health insurance. It starts after Easter so I'll have lost a few kg till then, and I'll probably be scanning for a few hours.
DH is cooking dinner and then will be working again.
DS just started one week of school holidays, so still in bed.
DD is preparing an oral paper on Gogol - I can hear faint Russian murmurs.
