Help with tumble drier ( exciting, I know )

I think I am done with my house looking like a laundry. Close horses everywhere..wet clothes on radiators etc...
I don't have room for a tumble drier in my kitchen but someone suggested a condenser drier. Does anyone recommend them? Are they expensive to run?

I’ve got a heat pump condenser. It costs pennies to run and I love it. It’s only a year old but I think they’ve gone up in cost substantially now.

I hated my condenser tumble drier. Took too long to dry clothes and was big and cumbersome. I bought a £100 basic hose tumbler and bought a hose box ( about £12 in Curry’s) so I don’t have to put the hose out of a window. Dries clothes quickly and efficiently.

My tumble dryer is in the garage - do you have any room outside?

Moving house soon - hopefully- have posed myself a tumble dryer. It will be the garage. Condenser or vented?

I've got a Bosch condenser after like you having clothes everywhere. Love it.

I have a large, walk in cupboard I was hoping to put it in. No garage.
If you have a 'normal' tumber drier with a hose box is that the best way to go?

I've got a Bosch condensor dryer - I don't know how I ever lived without one ... well I do; I had washing everywhere that took days to dry in my cold house!

My first condesor dryer broke beyond repair (we'd had it fixed 5 times) so insurance wrote it off and paid me out for it.
Now onto this one and I love it!

I’ve got a Siemens condenser dryer in a random cupboard. Love it. The key to getting the best out of it is to separate cottons and polycottons into different loads because they dry at different rates.

We were given a Candy condenser dryer, I wanted one for towels and bath robes as the hard water makes them stiff as boards. It wouldn't have been expensive to buy but it did save me having to decide what to get. Had always had one with a hose before and I don't mind either type, it just needs the water emptying out.

I also have a Lakeland heated airer if I need to dry stuff overnight.

Heat pump condenser all the way! Very economical and quieter too. I never have to iron it's been a complete revelation Wink
