The empty unit in our lovely village which would make a fabulous location for a wine bar or bistro is going to be a mortgage brokers Angry

The numpties who have moved here to 'get away from the city' then complain about animal noises. Yes, cows moo, sheep baa, horses whinny, donkeys bray, and roosters cock-a-doodle-doo when they feel like it, not just when you want the 'ambience'. Live with it!

We have an excessive amount of hairdressers and barbers. If one could close and turn into a nice bakery with lovely fresh bread every day I would be very happy.

Dirt is piling up next to vertical surfaces like concrete bollards, then weeds grow in it.

I long to get a spade and wheelbarrow and scrape it clean. In fact I should join the community Facebook group and ask if I can do it...

Also, some street trees need pruning. My imaginary secateurs twitch on my way to the bus stop.

It also doesn't have people who tether their horses outside school, and that is a major defect indeed.

That I can’t walk on the pavements without being blocked by cars who’ve mounted the kerb or dodging dog poo which no one seems to pick up

Practically zero public transport. The way the place turns into a ghost town during the day. Not knowing your neighbours.

All the houses are student houses. Pushing up the prices of those that aren't.

Trivial things, the accent is horrific, there's no Waitrose,Facebook group is obsessed with parking costs.

I'm glad it's not just me miffed by the lack of spontaneous singing and dancing effort going on in their locale. I've been teaching DS (age 2) jazz hands and basic tap in the hope that we can set up as a showbiz duet. Dh just gets embarrassed and walks off, now that's rude.
