Sippy cup in cot with 18month old

Hi all,

My DS has a cough and has been waking up in the night crying for a drink as I think his throat gets dry.

He then goes back to sleep hugging it and I have to sneak it away from him but I'm wondering if I could leave it in with him so he can help himself if he wakes up?

Is this a terrible idea

Thank you

It's fine...if it's just water. Adults have water to hand...why not toddlers?

What Fortunes said Smile

Any chance it could spill everywhere?

My toddler does this
He uses the cup as a snuggly
Occasionally the lid manages to come off and the bed gets wet, though

Teakind · 29/01/2019 22:30

Do you have a 360 cup? They are quite good at not spilling so might be a good solution.

I assumed we were talking about a 360 Blush Babybrain me.

Thanks everyone, he just woke up again screaming for it so I've left it with him. Hopefully it'll help him

I use the Tommee Tippee free flow cups which might be the issue
