Sensitive teeth.

I've had a lot of tooth trouble and my teeth have been left feeling very sensitive. I really would like an electric toothbrush, but they're so powerful that it's painful. I've just bought an Oral B sensitive one with a sensitive head and my teeth are throbbing after about 10 seconds.

Does anyone know what else I can try, or are they all similar?

I developed sensitivity after a filling. I use a normal toothbrush, I have a nerve condition in my hands and the vibrations of an electric one just don't work for me, I end up dropping it. But I switched to the Colgate sensitive foaming multiprotection toothpaste, it's in a purple box, and that's taken any sensitivity away. It was the first one I tried so I'm sure any of their sensitive ones would work just as well, I wait until it's on offer and grab a few as it's a bit more expensive but way better than painful teeth for me.
