My doctor has described me as ‘a very pleasant lady’

And it made me cry.

I have to go to hospital tomorrow for an infusion and needed a letter from my doctor as it’s an urgent referral thing. She wrote the referral with my age, weight and the fact that I’m very pleasant.

I am feeling poorly and a bit down at the moment but it really made my day.

@DrinkFeckArseGirls it means first time mum - older mum (over 35) would be elderly primigravida. Although I think they are avoiding the elderly word these days so would probably put 38yo primigravida.

Ah, OK - round here most forst time mothers are “elderly” Grin. And get told so.

I think this is a code to the hospital Doctor, For “ this lady is genuine” I have had that on more than one occasion on referrals

Primigravida always reminds me of a HP spell (along with hyperemesis gravidarum) 😂 ‘wingardium leviosa!’

OP, as all the medics and HCPs have said, it is a compliment! Ignore those who say it is code for anything uncomplimentary, it most definitely is not.

I hope your infusion is as pleasant as possible and that you are soon feeling better Flowers
