It’s a song we really love which has nice lyrics, and I’ve tweaked them so it doesn’t read like a song, but will it be a bit too much like Pete from Gavin and Stacey?
“Lights will guiiiiiiiide you Home”

KnitterOfSocks were you at my wedding 😂

I named my pet rat Pete after that wedding on Gavin & Stacey Grin.

Oh I love 'into my arms!' That's beautiful!

I also love Ebeneezer Goode... thatd have gone down a storm at my wedding wish I'd thought of it. Should've said it as my vows because my husband loves it and it wouldve been hysterical.

OP it's not naff at all! Weddings are cheesy by nature... even the classiest of wedding is still going to be a bit cheesy because it's a huge celebration of love! So just go for it!! If its special to you both then its lovely.

I think having a sense of humour and being able to embrace the cheese is the best policy.

We had a friend read out the words of an Elvis song. Yeah, a bit cheesy but my dh is a big Elvis fan so it suited us!

I would be sniggering. But I am quite mean.

We had song lyrics to 'I will be here'. We liked it!
