Did you have a BCG jab ?

I'm in my late 20's and for some reason my entire year didn't have their BCG done .... I can't remember what the reason was .

I think a few had to have It done privately , but I never had the test done or the jab itself

Yes I did, and both my dc were given it at birth as I had been out of the UK for more than 10 years prior to their birth.

I've asked about having the BCG now because I work with homeless people and immigrants, but the gp refused.
However the 2 people that I know who have had/are currently being treated for TB are not people considered high risk.

I'm early twenties and didn't have it at school but had it to become a midwife.

No, my bumps came up so I am immune / or a carrier! I had to have a chest X-ray to check I didn't have it though.
DS didn't have it although offered as a newborn because I was breastfeeding was told he would take on my antibodies.
