Where do you keep him?

AltogetherAndrews · 26/01/2019 16:06

Sitting in a cold draft?

Drogosnextwife · 26/01/2019 16:08

The same thing is happening to my Dragon tree at the moment, I've just been looking up to see what it could be, says low humidity bit my house is relatively damp compared to some and I can't make it more humid because the mould that insists on trying to grow on the back walls will get worse. I don't know what to do!

Letmedowneasy · 26/01/2019 16:22

The air around it is too dry, it often happens in winter when the central heating is on. The best thing to is to spray the leaves with a water spray bottle, and you can also put a tray of water nearby to increase humidity but all plants love their leaves being sprayed.

nutellaontoastgirl · 26/01/2019 22:35

@juniperbushes he was in the living room which has a lot of natural light, not directly in front of the radiator or anything.

Ah the water spray is a good idea, I didn't think of that! My nest says the humidity is 50%. Is that low or high? 50% of what though. 🤨

I think house plants like 60% or above so it is a little dry, try the water spray. The damage on the leaves can't be repaired but hopefully you won't get any more.

nutellaontoastgirl · 27/01/2019 00:33

Ah ok @Letmedowneasy thanks ! Can I cut the damaged leaves off?

I'm looking for a spray right now (as you do on a Saturday night Grin)

If it doesn't have one, look out for a moss pole. It needs some moisture for all the aerial roots.
