How to persuade my Nana to bend in half more?

My Nana is in her late 70s, now all of sound mind and quite good health, but she doesn't go anywhere anymore, I know she does want to go places and her friends encourage her to go out but she just doesn't, I'm trying to help her become more bendy and agree to more things I can't remember the bloody word I'm looking for so apologies about the bendy stuff my mind has gone blank Confused
She used to love swimming but it's like she hates other elderly people as they "make her feel old", but she's so bored at home and I don't know what else to do with her ??

At my local gym the yoga and various other classes are full of over 50’s. None of them seem stereotypically “old” and it seems most people are very sociable/chatty. I’ve already decided when I’m getting on a bit I’ll be off down the gym!

Sorry, no advice about the non-bendy nana, just wanted to express my astonishment at discovering Jane Fonda is 81. She looks amazing! I know she's had work done, but even so!

I went to Zuma Gold for the first time last week. It's for the over 55s I think. I'm 62, went with a friend who is 72 and there was at least one lady in her 80s and believe or not a 92 year old. Everybody just did what they could, loosely following the routine when they couldn't keep up. It was great fun. My friend has been going for sometime and was much better than me. If she used to like dancing maybe that might suit her.

Zumba not Zuma. Bloody auto correct!

Yoga or Tai Chi?

I enquired about a keep fit class recently and the woman asked me 'how flexible are you?' and I replied 'well I can't do evenings or weekends'

sorry.

Love the bendiness on this thread! I thought it might be that she was always dropping things on the floor?

@SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed yes 81, and still doing her workouts with a hip replacement and a new knee.

She's becoming my latest obsession, even my DS is doing the workouts with me now. BlushGrin
