5000 words to produce by Monday. What's the most work you've ever done in a few days?

Anyone else trying frantically to meet a deadline that's fast approaching? Mine is for a degree but I imagine the feeling of pressure is pretty much the same whether you're writing an essay for uni or for a report or brief etc for work. I cannot afford to fail this degree.

I'm struggling but need to crack on tonight and expect there won't be much sleep for a few days. Thought it might be good to hear tales of success to stay cheered up and positive!

I always did this at uni and masters, and ended with distinctions. A few times i was peer pressured into starting early but totally lost momentum and ended up rewriting the thing last minute anyway. I now do it with work too. I freelance so can spend my days doing my own thing then i go nuts in the evening into the night and get great feedback on my work so i just don't think i'm wired to do it any other way! How else do you keep all the information in your head at once to swirl around and generate genius ideas?!

Good luck op you'll be grand

My dad wrote his entire undergraduate dissertation in three days with the aid of quite a lot of speed and much berating from my mother Grin he got a high 2.1! I probably wouldn’t recommend this strategy....it was the early 80s, they’re very sensible and responsible 60 year olds now!
