Long weekend in March with baby - where?

I'm coming to the end of my maternity leave with my first baby, and my husband and I have said we should have a long weekend holiday somewhere in the UK to mark the end.

The baby will be one then. She's a high-needs baby, so we want somewhere easy and baby-friendly. We live in London and don't drive, so will have to be within reach by train, no more than 2-3 hours one way. We've already been to coastal places like Dover and Brighton lots, so somewhere different please.

Can anyone suggest such a place?

Maybe a town like Winchester. Marwell Zoo is not far outside the town and I'm sure it would be on a bus route from the town centre.

Bath is lovely. Compact so walkable (although a bit hilly in places). I went to uni there and loved it. Lots to do in the town centre, shops, visit the Roman baths (they provide slings for little kids as you can't take your buggy in, or at least that was the case the last time I was there). You can take the train from Bath to Bristol too, if you wanted. Or stay in Bristol and have a day in Bath.

Oh and we love doing Treasure Trails. It's a great chance to get out and see a town/city with a guided walk, spotting the clues along the way and finding out a bit more about the history.

Winchester perhaps, thank you!

We've been to Bath quite a few times, I should've said. It's beautiful. I should also say Oxbridge is out as we've been way too many times.
