Natracare sanitary pads

I have a coil so apparently I shouldn't use tampons and I find normal pads so incredibly itchy! I've bought some natracare pads that are cotton and cellulose wood pulp and already they feel less 'sweaty' ^shudder.

Has anyone else used them or similar? I'm probably going to look into reusables because I've heard great things on here Brew

You can use tampons with a coil- who said you couldn't?

They aren't great for the environment though so definitely look into reusables

applespearsbears · 23/01/2019 07:27

I think they are good less sweaty and plasticky and have just bought my first lot of reusable pads this month which I'm impressed with, no more throwing stuff in landfill!

abbeydo · 23/01/2019 07:51

@applespearsbears Did you get them from cheekywipes?

Tampons not great in case you snag the strings

No earthwise

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/01/2019 07:58

I bought a £3 menstrual cup off eBay, really pleased with it.

I`ve just bought the ecco femme 3 pack of liners as a mooncup backup from earth wise. impressed with the mooncup.

I use natacare. I'd add to your list of their great qualities by saying they are quiet. V plastic ones cream make scritch noises when i walk. I get the night time ones for daily use because i like the added security. I bulk buy them of Amazon.

I've been looking at cheekywipes and I find the options rather confusing!

You won't snag strings with a tampon, unless they are very long. Have you had a feel? If you want to use tampons, you can.

abbeydo · 23/01/2019 17:29

The strings are so long and haven't soften yet. It's a new one following child birth. I'm used to pads now but I'm looking at some washables. Cheeky wipes seem to be out of stock!

I use organic cotton pads and tampons. I find them much nicer than Always etc.
