What can I bake for kids 'grab and go' breakfasts?

I'd like to bake them some stuff to take to school, just as a nicer brekkie than toast/cereal.

Any SUGGESTIONS?

Blueberry flapjacks!

Not sure his you vskd yoghurt, but anyway....whatxahoyd those egg muffin things? Best the egg, geese cake/muffin tins, pop in chopped peppers, ham, cheese, whatever and spoon the egg over, bake for fifteen mins. They are fine then, or the next day. Like quiche with no pastry.

Also fruit flapjack is good.

Bacon, egg and sausage sandwich (all cold, tastes lovely!).

GerryblewuptheER · 22/01/2019 23:03

Toasties?
Bagels? Cool.some sausages the night before and chuck inside a toasted bagel with some ketchup. Makes a good portable breakfast.

Some.of those savoury muffins with cheese and tomato or corguette or something.

Quesadilla with cheese and ham. One should do 2 kids (half each)

That should say:

Not sure how you bake yoghurt...

And:

What about.....

I want to make flashbacks!! Grin I really hope this wasn't a typo and is a new breakfast bakery item I have to try.

What about a banana bread OP? Or is that too cakey?

My kids love oat fingers.
1 tablespoon of milk per tablespoon of oats then add fruit, berries work best. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 mins then cool and slice. You can use Greek yogurt instead of milk and a little bit of water and honey to taste if you want them a wee bit sweeter. Google oat fingers and you will find loads of combinations 😀

Savoury muffins, they’re fantastic. Good hot or cold, great for breakfasts, lunches, snacks, picnics. I can sneak so many veggies in them and my fussy youngest doesn’t notice. Ham and cheese, tomato and herb, peppers, onion, courgette... or fruit ones made with frozen fruit.
