What time does your 10 year old go to sleep?

Just heard DS arsing about upstairs and he is still not asleep. I'm a single parent and don't get a lot of evening to myself as he's up later and later and yet still wakes up bright and early... What time does your 10 year old go to bed? I think I need to get my head round the fact he's getting older but I haven't yet.
His bedtime was supposed to be 8pm but has now crept to 9, which means he's often still awake at 10 faffing about. Argh! I can't fully relax until he's asleep whch I know is my issue but I'm an introvert and I desperately need time alone to recharge.

Well tonight went to shit somewhat in terms of my excellent plans. We ended up eating late and then I remembered he needed a shower so it was almost half nine by the time I finished Harry Potter (and he wasn't happy as I had to leave it at a really exciting bit as it was so late... Grin Whoops!)
It did help to highlight the issues and how a lot of them are down to me, usually to do with starting to cook later than ideal because I am either trying to do eight things at once or just collapsed on the sofa in exhaustion. Then everything drags on and before we know it it's 10pm and he's still awake. This hasn't been going on that long, I think it's to do with the fact we moved a few months ago and we don't have a routine anymore, everything is just haphazard.
Next week, I will conquer this. Might have to ease in slowly though or he'll just be awake for ages as he's used to going at 9-10pm. And breathe.

9.00 during the week. She doesn't sleep well though and never has. I think she is going to be a cross between a night owl and insomniac like me. All my babies slept through from 6 weeks except for her. She often stays awake for a very long time not being able to sleep.

On weekends we don't have set bedtimes. It just depends on what is happening.

My 9 year old...Bed by 8 ish, we read together with her little brother then she goes to her own room to read and have the radio on very quietly. It is usually lights off at 9 but she is often still awake at 9:30-10.
