I have smoked since i was a teen and although not a heavy smoker i definitely get twinges, cravings for it i did enjoy popping outside for a fag, in the last few months ive stopped enjoying it when i do have one i feel like im feeding the craving begrudgingly, I feel like my mind is telling me its the perfect time to stop. I wanna get a vape stick im unsure where to start with types etc, anyone been through this and how did you find the right one for you? xx

Go to a good vape shop and they will talk you all through it, I vape and have quit smoking and there are loads of starter kits out there for you to try. A good vape shop will talk you through and tell you what coils and juices you will need.

Agree with above. A good vape shop. I have bought some rubbish vapes over time online and I didn’t realise not all liquids are suitable for the devices I had. I kept giving up vaping but now iv been to a decent shop I have finally got the correct kit and given the fags up. Good luck!

Place marking...!

How do you know a "good" Vape Shop? There's one near me in London but they don't seem very well informed.

I too have smoked since I was a teenager then I had to stop. I went to a shop on our local high street and got a vape, I've gone from 30/40 a day to 1a week. I wouldn't call myself an ex smoker yet because I'm not but I really don't miss smoking cigarettes very much. Definitely go to a shop, as pp have said they will talk you through everything

OP I'd been looking thru here as they sound pretty well informed, good info on Starter kits (I also looked up reviews for the kits I was interested in separately). I'm going to email ask some advice then likely order from there.

They're in Wembley, I think. Good customer service reviews on Trust Pilot too

Definately go to a vape shop.
If you go in and they don't seem to know what you need/ want find another shop.
There are a few good forums online that have reviews and recommendations for shops. If you can find one in your area it will probably help to narrow down your search a bit.
I did find when I first started to vape it irritated my throat a bit and made me cough. But that only lasted for a day and now I'm fine. I feel so much better than i did when I was smoking. Food tastes better, I get less breathless exercising and my bank balance is much much healthier.

There are some excellent starter kits about at the moment, the set ups are a lot better than they used to be .

As pp have said ,first go to a Vape shop ,they will explain which liquid strength you need based on smoking habits & then they'll recommend the correct set up for your liquid needs .
Another positive with shops is that you get to try different liquid & find out what you like before buying .

Buy a zeltu x pod kit, about £30 and then some Nic salts to go in it, ohm brew and got salts and good.
You won't need anything else. Absolutely brilliant vape kit, simple to use and all you need

Some shops will try and sell you a big tank kit and it's unnecessary to get you started and may even put you off vaping

The zeltu gives a nice draw and the battery lasts all day

thanks for replies, ill definitely look into starter kits. I agree its finding a good shop dont want to go in where they swoop in like vultures and be bombarded with jargon.Blush

These are a good chain store . Helpful and also have an online shop if you don't have a physical shop in your area.

I started on 12mg of nicotine just before Christmas and now on 6mg . My vape cost £24.99 and though basic, is easy to use . Its also a good idea to watch some videos on YouTube , I found them helpful

If you look on the totally wicked site and click on the menu, then on info and find where it says support it gives a bit of info.

I find them really helpful and kind when I go in to see them. I also find their shops a bit more welcoming than some others.
