Two periods a month (very heavy) extreme tiredness!

I'm guessing it's perimenopause related, but I've always had heavy periods (along with clots etc, and sometimes irregular - due to PCOS diagnosis?).

I have fibroids so don't know if that's related as well? And I'm always anaemic/borderline anaemic.

In September my period came a week early - no worries really. Went back to normal.

Two months later it was extra heavy (put a pad on, went straight to airing cupboard and in then gushed and flooded - stained the carpet - sorry for TMI). Was borderline anaemic then, but had been taking iron tablets, and they were then stopped.

I came on the Saturday before Christmas, heavy as usual, but nothing abnormal. Then came on again last week!!

Still on as heavy as the first few days, and feeling extremely tired and weak. Cannot do much (literally want to sleep all the time), my capillary on my fingernails is non-existent (in fact they are completely white altogether), and the insides of my lower eyelids are white as well, so pretty sure I'm heading for anaemia.

I know I've not got thyroid issues (take lithium so thyroid checked every 3 months).

I've made a drs appt for two weeks, but I;ve bought some agnus castus, as I think I've low progesterone (migraines, pms), can I start it now?

Bumping for you. Sounds horrible OP. Glad you're booked in with the Dr. Can you eat iron rich foods in the mean time to help?

I've had a odd cycle this month too with a few days of random bleeding in the middle. I suspect I'm heading into peri territory. My mum's symptoms started at the same age.

Fun being a woman isn't it!
