Why don't people use them? There's been £millions spent locally to out in an extra lane between two roundabouts a mile or so apart which experience heavy traffic. The idea being I suppose to stop traffic tailing back onto the roundabouts themselves and causing further tailbacks developing. The extra lane filters back in as you approach the roundabout. Why don't people use them...many people sit in the mile omg queue whilst the other lane is empty...? And why do some motorists insist on aggressively blocking those trying to filter back in (I presume they see it as 'queue jumping'?). Seen it not only there but in many other situations too where a filter lane has been added to try to ease traffic issues and prevent them backsplling onto crossroads/roundabouts etc. I just don't get it
