Picked him up from school today and he’s got a dry dark pink area under his lip that seems very sore.

Any ideas what I can try? Hope you can see on the pic.

Burt's Bees lip balm.

O Keefe’s is brilliant
Lots of blistex, Carmel etc have menthol or ammonia in and can sting when they are applied, so DCs don’t want to use them. DS2 gets terrible chapped lips, and we have tried many many chapsticks, creams etc.
The O’Keefes can be applied as much as you like.

Sudacrem stings like a bastard on chapped skin

Lipsalve, e.g. Nivea lipsalve.

Moisturiser stings (been there - sorry, DD!) but lipsalve doesn't.

Also he can carry it easily to reapply at school.

Not blistex, it stings like buggery.

Lansinoh is a good suggestion. You could put a bit in a little pot for him to reapply during the day rather than send him to school with nipple cream.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream is amazing for anything like this.

Thank you everyone!
