I think it's not so much Jon Hamm as Don Draper who is hot, if that makes any sense. Don is irresistable, especially in the early seasons, but Jon Hamm himself? He's a good-looking guy obviously, but in a CNN newsreader sort of way. Attractive, but bland and not particularly sexy, which you certainly would never say about Don Draper!

Definitely 'Jensen Ackles'. What is there not to like about that fit, handsome man!

I think with Aidan Turner - for me at least - it's a bit like Jon Hamm in that it's the character rather than the actor that is hot. Poldark all moody and manly, in his tricorn hat, staring moodily out to sea? Oh yes! Aidan Turner with his scruffy hair? Not so much.

Not sure about that, iced The first time I was aware of Aidan Turner was when he was in "And Then There Were None" (I hadn't seen Poldark) I thought "What a stupidly handsome man."

TBF I quite fancied him in Being Human, which was mostly a slightly comedic or at least light role (although I know it turned darker).

Thats hilarious. I know exactly what you mean, and yes Aidan Turner is the very embodiment of ‘smell the fart’ acting (in Poldark, anyway, where he’s always ‘brooding’).

I’ll never be able to take him seriously again. 😁
