8 porridge+6oz milk
10 7oz milk
12 bowl of food+6oz milk
1 snacks
3 7oz milk/
6 bowl of food+pudding +5 oz of milk
And then she'll have 6oz again at 7.30 before bed but wakes up at 3.30/4 starving

What kind of food are you giving? I find pieces of chicken are good for filling up my nine month old.
Protein before bed should fill her, though mine still wakes for a bottle starving too Grin

What food are you giving? Plenty of protein/ carbs?

Noonoo18 · 09/01/2019 16:00

Yeah she always has chicken or something filling before bed. Just won't stay full 😂😂

Lunch is potatoes or scrambled egg and tea is chicken with potatoes and veg x

Are you offering drinks of water first? She may be thirsty.

BlackInk · 09/01/2019 17:12

Are you offering foods whole or pureed? Purees have a high water content and not much substance. You don't mention much in the way of carbs - how about giving bread or toast fingers? Pancakes? Pasta? At 7 months she can have pretty much everything - just no whole nuts or whole grapes (choking hazards) and not too much salt.

She's only 7 months and it's a long stretch from 7:30 pm to 7 am, she's just not able to last that long.
Full fat plain yogurt after tea is a good filler. What about rice pudding or semolina?

danni0509 · 09/01/2019 19:18

Could you bring tea forwards to 5/5.30 ish and then give a small bowl of porridge or a weetabix at 7pm with the bottle?

I used to give my ds a warm weetabix with bottle of milk about 7.30 and he used to sleep through as a baby.

danni0509 · 09/01/2019 19:20

More nearer a year he slept through though, and when I say slept through I mean 8.30pm till about 6am.

Don't talk to me about sleep issues now he's 5 though!
