Wallpaper rip - help!

Hoping this catches someone's eye as I need some recommendations!
We've recently had our small downstairs bathroom decorated and I've just noticed a small tear in the wallpaper behind the radiator.
At the moment it is not too noticeable as it is mostly hidden by the radiator but I don't want it to get caught or for the tear to 'run' any further up the wall - what would you use to stop it getting any worse?
I'm thinking of a clear tape but if anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful!
Thank you!

Just get some wallpaper paste and paste it back down. Why would you sellotape it?

You can wallpaper glue. I've used for similar and it's great. It's a unibond one. You dampen the back of the paper, put the glue on the wall and smooth the paper back over. Job done ☺

I’ve used pritt stick for jobs like this in the past Blush
Did the job though.

Thank you; it's a bit difficult to describe but the paper hasn't come away from the wall exactly, it's more that there's a rip in it but I can't get my fingers under it to stick it back down with paste which is why I was thinking a tape might work.
The unibond glue sounds interesting. I'll have a look! Thanks for the replies 😀

My mother always stuck torn wall paper with flour and water. Where you describe it is I'd use a school ruler with some kitchen roll or cloth taped over the end and poke it down.
