I'm trying to eat less crap in general as don't do diets and I don't have good and bad foods as I've worked hard to repair my disordered eating and appalling relationship with food. I've said I won't eat anything once I've had dinner (we eat between 5 and 6) but I've been so hungry the last 2 days. I'm a bugger for snacking in bed at night while reading and I need to put a stop to it.

I've had:
B: porridge with vanilla rice milk and golden syrup (was vile. Will use normal milk tomorrow)

L: poppyseed bagel with a thin layer of vegan mayo and Mexican cheese

D: beetroot and pumpkin burger (no bread) with homemade oven chips, petit pois, cranberry sauce and vegan mayo.

Snack: handful of dried mango and 4 Cadbury's mini eggs

I'm not vegan but don't eat eggs if I can help it hence the vegan mayo.

I've walked 6.5 miles today
Yesterday I did an 8.5 mile bike ride and a 4 mile walk. The walks involve big hills so gets me sweaty and slightly out of breath. The walking is the school run (5 miles. Got a lift one way yesterday) which I do every week day anyway.
I'm breastfeeding but only twice a day now. Sometimes 3.

No idea of the calories as don't count them. Obsessing about calories is so boring ime and changes to diet and lifestyle need to be not too drastic so as to be maintainable for long term results.

I'm really missing my evening snacks but feeling good that I've cut down about half my food intake by cutting snacks.

BMI is 24 so aiming for generally healthier, not drastic weight loss.

B - sourdough toast with peanut butter

L - sweet potato and lentil daal with wild rice (from Eat)
Coconut yoghurt

D - ran out of time to make the soup that was planned so 4x cheese on crackers with silverskin onions

Snax- 3 lychees, 2 dates, 2 biscotti that someone brought into work

Drinks - water, black coffee, herbal tea

Around 1600 calories

I'm trying to lose about 4-5 pounds that have crept on since the summer so I'm aiming for a small calorie deficit.

RitaMills · 08/01/2019 22:11

Trying to cut down and lose just over a stone so tracking everything and upping my activity, started a week ago and have lost 4lbs this week. Today I’ve eaten -

B - Banana
L - Ham sandwich, chunk of watermelon and some strawberries.
D- Chilli, rice, salad and mini pitta bread.

Snacks - Chocolate snack a jack and a cherry yogurt.

Drinks - Morning and mid morning coffee, water and green tea rest of the day.

delilahbucket · 08/01/2019 22:44

Some melon for breakfast and several coffees, a pot of soup for lunch, some Thai eggs rice and veggies for tea, a piece of toblerone. Was starving around 4:30pm but a fruit tea soon helped with that. I've got a wedding dress to fit into next year so now is as good a time as any to lose the final half stone I never lost last time I shed weight.

glitterballbag · 08/01/2019 22:55

Overnight oats with summer fruits

B: baked beans, bacon medallions, tomato and mushroom

L: homemade red pepper and lentil soup. Half a pitta bread, very small slice of Christmas cake (damn kids both wanted to try it)

D: mackerel kedgeree, homemade. Another small slice of cake.

1hr walking, 40 mins aerobics, ran up and down the stairs 10 times.

lubeybooby · 08/01/2019 23:15

Just calorie counting here and have very easy goals but my appetite isn't much after being ill recently so my calories are not massively healthy ones... I usually eat better than this (dinner was ok though)

Toast with butter and primula, coffee with 30ml milk

marmite sandwich on brown, 32g pack of crisps

turkey mince and kabanos sausage stir fry with lots of veg
