What tv does your family watch together?

Lots of caveats about only watching telly in moderation and doing lots of other enriching activities as a family

We're trying to broaden 5yo DD's telly.watching repertoire. She doesn't like most films (e.g. Disney / Pixar) as she tends to find them scary. She watches kids stuff on Netflix or cbeebies (and YouTube crap if we lose the negotiation) but DH and I can't keep watching that stuff.

We've started trying to find other stuff. So.far, Inside the Factory has been a success (We all love Maddie more but have watched all.of the "Do you Knows" too many times). And she watched a bit of strictly with me before Xmas.

What do you watch with your kids?

Go Jetters 😭 but we've had some success with Ninja Warrior/Total Wipeout type programmes too (she's 4)

Bake Off? If you have access to Catch Up you might get Junior Bake Off box sets. Junior Master Chef is good. The American one with Gordon Ramsay is great. He's a totally different to his usual self and very encouraging.
Britain's Got Talent will start Easter-ish.

We are currently watching Merlin which is on Netflix.

Lego Masters is also fun and both series are on All4.

Any nature programme - my 5 year old loved the one on iplayer called 'spy in the snow'

Lots of documentaries.
2 year old DS who is scared by even stuff on CBeebies (he likes some) happily watched snow wolf with me the other night.
He didn’t seem fussed by me explaining the wolves wanted the sheep, and enjoyed the pups gnawing on a bone. He was more annoyed when the babies snatched the bone off each other.

Some studio ghibli - Kikis delivery service especially.

Flog it with His grandad. Mainly so he can shout flog it!

Mine liked Time Team at that age, also sport (especially Swimming- I got bored long before DS2!).
