I have a very tiny kitchen.I am used to big ones but this is what I have now.
It is too small to rearrange where things are but what cupboards and work surface would be good.I plan to do it in summer as bits of it are falling off atm.
It is north facing.Any hints and tips?

I would go to Ikea with all your measurements and do a kitchen plan there as there are so many space saving options in an Ikea kitchen.

Have you looked at Pinterest for small kitchen ideas? They also have some good storage hacks.

We had a tiny oddly shaped kitchen that we were told several times over by kitchen planners that we couldn't change the lay out of & no way could I fit a dishwasher in. I got myself on Pinterest & the likes, thought about what I needed from the space & what were supporting walls, where the pipes were etc etc. I drew the plans up myself & with very little remodelling, I got the dishwasher & a new more sensible lay out that I wanted. Carousel corner units helped get more in. So think about planning it yourself, you know what you need it to be the best.

Other than that, stick to light, reflective surfaces & lighter colours on the walls to give the illusion of more space. Keep windows more bare & open, so light coloured blinds rather than curtains if you need for privacy, otherwise, hang a pan wrack high in the window for extra storage, without cutting out light.

We went with high gloss white vinyl wrapped shaker style doors, with high polished mostly grey granite & slate tiled floor with white grout. The white grout & the squared effect it creates also gives an illusion of more space. The only thing I think we could have done better was we have a footboard under all units. Units on legs would have made the floor space look bigger still.

Rockinhippy.Ive moved the washing machine out and am thinking of a dishwasher to keep the work surfaces free.
I've wondered about kick boards and whether I can get baskets to go under the units .
I am also looking for wall units that go up to the ceiling to cut out that greasy dead space.
When I say small I mean if I stand Inthe middle I can touch one wall one side and a wall unit with the other width ways.It is a bit longer but not by much.

How about fully built in on one side and use wall units as floor ones on the other with a narrow top? My old neighbour did that to maximise storage and still have as long an expanse of worktop as possible - her sink was under the window.
