So what gadget do you have that you'll use a few times and then never again?

I accidentally (as in it was one-clicked on Amazon) purchased a sprouter and sprouting mix. It arrived so I figured I'd give it a go, I like to add different textures and tasted to my salads and stirfry.
I figure I'll probably use it a few times, force the family to consume sprouts until their sick of it and then it will live in the cupboard until I declutter and pass it on to a charity shop.

It was cheap at least, I still have eye watering costly bread maker that I used religiously for a year before we went low carb and retired it to to the cupboard.
It joins the pressure king pro that I've never really got to grips with.

So what do you have along these lines? Anything made the cut and you actually use it regularly?

We have a pasta machine that is rarely used. It's good fun when we use it though. It was a present to my husband which he won't part with.

Ice cream maker. I don't even like the stuff much Grin

We toyed with the idea of a countertop ice cream maker, we'd use it for healthy frozen yoghurt and sorbet and everyone would be thrilled to come and have a cool dessert at our house.... I'm so glad we realised before buying it what all we'd do is make huge batches of cream filled, sugar laden ice cream full of sweets and then never use it again. Grin

We have never had a pasta machine, see above - too dangerous!

We've in the past had a Gordon Ramsey waffle iron, a pie make, a health grill, a Panini press, all which we were certain we'd use regularly...

DH has a huge garden smoker for Christmas which I hope he' use, he's been banging on about it for years!

I've got a nutri bullet. I've used it a few times, and made myself a horrible smoothie today with it but I'm definitely not using it as much as I expected.

I had a slushy maker that never even made it out of its box. Sat in our pantry for two years before getting shipped off to a charity shop.

Ice cream maker
Soup Maker
George Forman mini grill
Yogurt maker.....
I should learn really not to but this stuff.
That's nothing compared to the size and expense of exercise equipment bought and not used after a month over the years too!

Philips Lumea. Bloody expensive. I think it's the combination of irregular sessions (you use it once every 2 weeks for months) combined with not actually seeing anything happening, I just never seem to actually dedicate myself to using it. And I'm too scared to sell it on eBay because it's an expensive item and you can guarantee it will 'not be delivered' and I'll lose my money.

I tricked a Phillips Lumea so got it fir free, after the trial it's lived in my cupboard never to see the light of say again ... I hadn't considered eBaying it 🤔

Trialed (no idea where tricked came from!)
