Where are your black leggings from?

I need some new black leggings. Thick, good quality ones. I'm sick of the cheaper ones, they go bobbly, see through, Nora Batty at the knees after a few wears. If you would recommend yours, where are they from?

I'm currently looking through h&m as I had a cracking pair of maternity ones from there.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Next, not only because they do tall sizes so are long enough, but also they stay true black and never bag at the knees.

FestiveFruitloop · 05/01/2019 22:37

Most of mine (that I'm actually happy with) are from either Peacocks or Very.

LosingLola · 05/01/2019 22:37

I wear the 2 for £10 leggings from sainsbury's. They do other leggings but they're not as good (although some are more expensive). But these are not a through and wash really well.

White stuff, they wash well and dont go the weird shiny see-through way when stretched

mammmamia · 05/01/2019 23:07

Next, they definitely don’t bobble or fade. I’ve got a few pairs and a couple of them have developed small holes but only after a few years. I’d buy them again.
I tried the Sainsbury’s ones after hearing about them on here but I didn’t like the fabric or fit at all.

Ivegotthree · 05/01/2019 23:14

I quite like my cheapo Sainsburys ones

hoppybee · 05/01/2019 23:17

I bought Asos maternity ones when pregnant. I'll never wear any others again :)

M&S by a mile

Tr1skel1on · 06/01/2019 00:24

M&s indigo ones, brilliant

Quiz in a discount shopping village place near me. It's the only branch of that shop I've ever seen though!

Bouledeneige · 06/01/2019 00:33

M & S or any old supermarket.

iRememberNow · 06/01/2019 00:49

Can anyone recommend leggings with a nice soft waistband? I like ones that don't constrict your waist too much or suck you in.

WeeM · 06/01/2019 00:56

I thought my Sainsbury’s ones were great until I tried boden ones. The material is so soft and the waistband very comfy.

slithytove · 06/01/2019 01:12

Very
£15 a pair, love them

Mum2OneTeen · 06/01/2019 01:20

Daughter (18 yr) loves Lululemon and Lorna Jane black leggings (I'm too old & fat to wear them Confused)

Kaybush · 06/01/2019 01:29

I swear by Sweaty Betty, although H&M do good copies These are shiny Lycra-look though that I wear mainly for yoga but keep on as they prevent sweat 😂

My sister works in TV and just lives in Intermissimi wool and silk leggings, which she either dresses up at work with shirts and ankle boots, or with jumpers/sweatshirts and hi-top trainers at weekends.

Kaybush · 06/01/2019 01:30

Make that Intimissimi!

Time40 · 06/01/2019 01:53

Sainsbury's two-pack ones.

camflower · 06/01/2019 08:32

I bought Boden after recommendations on here but I've got through 3 pairs in a less than 5 years - they don't go baggy but mine have all developed random little holes and areas where the fabric has worn out and gone thin. In fact they even ripped the other day.

bengalcat · 06/01/2019 08:34

Primary and they do thicker ones in the winter - wash well although the thin ones develop holes eventually but as they’re only £2-3 who cares either carry on wearing / repair or buy another pair

allinthelineofduty · 06/01/2019 09:55

Primark - the fleece lined ones.

feelingverylazytoday · 06/01/2019 10:17

Primark for me as well. I've got some from Sainsburys but they didn't stay quite as black as my Primark cheapies.

EyUpOurKid · 06/01/2019 10:24

Thank you everyone! I've bought a selection Grin H&M, a pair of mint velvet and some boden ones so far to do a contrast and compare.

Also managed to get a pair of Boden Chelsea boots for £33 and two shirt dresses that fell into the basket! I never buy new for me so I'm quite pleased.

if you want them really tough Cos do some great ones in blue and black called 'slim cotton-twill trousers'. Mine have lasted for years.
