Mumsnetters I need your help finding a type of dinner plate

I'm having a dense moment.

Looking for a round, deep plate with a high lip. Imagine a large ceramic jam jar lid type plate.

Seen them all over on cookery programmes but don't have a clue where to start tapping it in to do a search. I just get bowls, serving bowls or pasta dishes.

Someone on here must know what I mean or even better have them and can point me in the direction of where to buy them.

So thanks to Darkbaptism I now know they are called coupe plates, thank you Darkbaptism btw. I now just need to find a set I like. Denby as you suggested BollocksToBrexit have some I like, but would like to think I can some a tad cheaper.

Don't laugh, but have a look in Asda. I bought a box of two tone stoneware, a couple of weeks back, and was surprised by the depth of the lip. And way cheaper then Denby! (I like Denby, but wanted something everyday as well)

How deep an edge are you looking for? These aren't too bad..

On the Wayfair website there seems to be a big selection of coupe plates, at decent prices too. (The Denby ones still seem expensive though.)

But now you know their name I'm sure you'll find loads via Google, you'll be sick of the sight of them by tomorrow and decide on something else.
