Fish fingers and...

Custard.

No, really, DS is having fish fingers for tea and I need ideas for what to do with them that isn't chips or peas.

He gets a bit bored by potato unless it's cheesy mash. And he hates peas and baked beans.

He's 18mo and a pretty good eater. He mainly eats pasta so I'd like to steer clear of that. Veg can be a bit hit & miss but he'll try most things.

I'm just a bit stuck for ideas on this one.

I don't think DD even remembers what it was like Grems! You'll have to try it and let us know! Xmas Grin

I've just fed mine fishfingers accompanied by Yorkshire puddings because for some reason we have absolutely nothing potato-like in the house. We really must go to the shops... 😁

My favourite thing for fish fingers is have them on a barn cake (muffin, roll what ever you call it) with a massive dallop of mushy peas. It's one of my most favourite meals. My comfort/lazy tea when I need it xx

Oh I really want them in a sandwich with tomato sauce now
