Usually have shellac but fancy a bit of length. Which shall I opt for? Pros and cons?

Depends on 2 things. Personal preference and what you do with your hands. Although if you wear gloves when doing household tasks/have hands in water, then it won't matter. Generally gels are better for people that get their hands wet alot. Hairdressers for example.

I find acrylics uncomfortable for the first few days as they tighten as the "cure" acrylics are an air dry system. Gels (hard gel in the case of extensions you are looking at) cure under a lamp and don't have the right sensation.

You could always look at a dip system too, like sns or nsi simplicite

I've gone from being a nail biter to having very similar shape/length nails to your picture in 6 weeks! Just by using gel - DND in my case, similar to Shellac and cured with a UV lamp.

It's the longest I've ever been able to maintain nice nails and they feel strong.

They look gorgeous! I'm going to try and keep mine growing nicely and then have those....I always have a square-oval shape. Are these almond?

Fashionista101 · 06/01/2019 22:14

@TitsNnails your name 😂👏

Yes I asked for almond? Who knew.
