Spearmint tea and chin hair reduction

I read something on here about spearmint tea bing helpful in reducing pcos related facial hair. A quick Google brings up a couple of studies done in the last ten years that supports this so I'm thinking about giving it a try but I'm struggling to find spearmint tea bags. They all seem to be pepper mint.

I've got some spearmint and camomile which is nice but not very minty so I'm not sure it'll do much good. Anyone have a source on pure spearmint tea?

Thank you

Could you grow it yourself? Herbal teas are just basically the herbs dried and put into tea bags as far as I know. I often make mint tea by just plucking a whole stem off a mint plant and letting it steep in boiling water.

That's a good idea actually. I'm sure it would grow on a window sill. I'd still like some bags for when I'm out and about though. 😀

I got the loose tea on eBay.

It didn’t work, have you tried dianette?.

I haven't tried anything yet because my GP has been telling me there's nothing I can do for years (last straw, currently trying to change practices). When I get that sort d it's on the list to ask about.

It was just something I came across by chance and thought I'd give it a shot. I like spearmint so it's no hardship.

Thanks for the link. Bit more than I want to spend right now but it's helpful.

Hi OP

I use Palanquin Spearmint Tea, you can buy it from Amazon. It does reduce the hairs, I’ve had IPL and laser and I’ve found it’s had more of an impact than either of them.

I don’t like the taste so I tend to make a small cup, leave it to brew till it’s cool then down it. I have at least 2 cups a day.

I've used spearmint tea as part of a plan to control my acne when I came off the pill as suggested by a skincare group I'm in.

It did work a little bit but not a miracle working on its on though. I'd guess it works by balancing my hormones and PCOS is hormone related?

Puka do a mixed mint tea bag.

It probably wont hurt to do it but lots of mint teas can affect your iron absorption levels. It did for me.
