I'm 37 weeks pregnant and full of cold and don't fancy anything to eat. Really struggling to think of nice tasty things to eat.

What have you eaten for your dinner? I'm hoping for some inspiration!

I’m in Scotland where we have Steak pie, mash and veg on New Year’s Day.

selepele · 01/01/2019 19:43

Just had burnt salmon, cabbage and mash

Flowersonthepiano · 01/01/2019 19:45

Cottage pie and cabbage. We were going to have Chinese, but our go to takeaway was shut - fair enough I suppose

Big fat homemade burgers all round. Might eat some more cheese. Mmm cheese.

Invisimamma · 01/01/2019 19:47

I thought pretty much everyone had steak pie in New year's Day (like turkey at Christmas), didn't realise it was a Scottish thing!

MammonRouge · 01/01/2019 19:49

Stuffed peppers

Rememberallball · 01/01/2019 19:51

Cold gammon, parsley sauce, Yorkshire pudding instead of carbs, carrots and sprouts. Didn’t do a huge plate but still only managed about 1/2 of what I served up!!

maddiemookins16mum · 01/01/2019 19:51

We had scrambled egg on toast, tons of it. Used 8 eggs for 3 of us.
We’re now having tea and shortbread.

bluechameleon · 01/01/2019 19:51

Kedgeree with roasted cauliflower and sprouts

PurpleDaisies · 01/01/2019 19:54

Chickpea, spinach and spring onion curry (made with jar of sauce) with rice, poppadoms, soya yoghurt and lime pickle.

It was really nice.

overmydeadbody · 01/01/2019 19:55

We had red onion pie (nigella) with baked beans and green beans.

fitflopqueen · 01/01/2019 19:55

Meatless chili using sweet potato, mixed beans etc and rice, very tasty.
Raspberry yoghurt for pud

Smellbellina · 01/01/2019 20:00

Special fried lamb rice, sweet and sour chicken, Indian snacks and chips. Just realised the curry sauce is still in the microwave Blush

Owlettele · 01/01/2019 20:01

Homemade wedges, coleslaw and pulled pork......dh did it - apart from the wedges........was awesome . Hope you feel better OP. Xx

mamaduckbone · 01/01/2019 20:01

Lasagne, salad and garlic bread. Dh made the lasagne and put a ton of cheese in the sauce. It was lush.

tryinganewname · 01/01/2019 20:03

Quorn sausages, mash, Yorkshire puddings, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.

Full of cold here too, felt I better get some veggies in me after weeks of indulgence.

onlyhereforthefood · 01/01/2019 20:06

Full of cold here as well, spaghetti hoops on marmite toast was the solution!

2019HereWeCome · 01/01/2019 20:07

We had a very disappointing meal at WFrankie & Bennie's this aft so when we got home I was craving something filling and comforting so I made a massive cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake. We had half of that for tea with some boiled new potatoes and battered fish.

YeOldeTrout · 02/01/2019 11:26

why eat if not hungry? Ok, is pg so maybe best not to let blood sugar dive. One slice of Toast with butter & go to bed sounds good to me, though.
