Anyone else dreading the return to work tomorrow....I don't think I can do it!

The thought is making me feel grumpy and irritated. Can't seem to shake it!

amused bush if you hadn't of said you lived in Scotland I would of though we had worked for the same person. I worked with that lunatic for six years

I wasn’t due in until Friday, as I’d taken an extra day (also in Scotland) in order to recover from NY cisotorss. That was until my boss called this AM to tell me she’d like to cancel my leave, and I should come in tomorrow. This is because we’ve a mad level of long-term sickness absence, and could have been foreseen before the Xmas break. I should have been quicker in saying I was away, or something. She called at 9am, and woke me up, though!

I should add that she’s not coming in until Monday..... but given she has no idea how to do our jobs, that’s no surprise. I’ve said I can’t continue covering two other roles long term, but I’ve just been told to see what I can do. Good, eh? Everything she does slightly further reduces my respect for her.....

I’m truly sorry that you know how it feels. I spend my life treading on eggshells and being verbally kicked for no reason. She has taken five people to HR over the years though, and run a further three out of their jobs. I daren’t rock the boat Sad
