Hi! I'm new to this... looking for some help with pushchairs please! I would like a good travel system preferably with the seat included to click in and out of the car... our car is isofix compatible! I've seen one that I think looks fair good - Maxi-Cosi Adorra pushchair - anyone used this? Opinions please?! Thank you!!

You can drive yourself batty looking at all the different prams. We picked ours based on its use, so some off-road in woods etc. And the ability to be able to make it a double if we choose to add to the family. I really don’t think you can go wrong with most of what’s available, but think practically and you’ll be fine

What's your budget?

Love an uppababy. The vista is big, but the other one (name escapes me!) looks great.

Don't overspend...
Max £100...
Then you can have a nice new one for summer when the baby needs it as it will outgrow the baby one very fast.

go and try them out in the shop, I chose one that was easy to put up and down- baby jogger city
Didn’t come with a car seat but it has optional car seat adaptors which I bought for £30
Also lots on second hand sites so worth a search once you’ve picked a model

I have the Adorra, it's gorgeous to look at but a right pain when it comes to folding up!! Nice and roomy though.

Disagree with people who say the baby will "outgrow" a pram in a few months!! Hmm My almost 3 yo is still in his bugaboo cameleon as it is FAR easier to push a weighty toddler in than an umbrella pushchair / cheap stroller and is vastly superior when it comes to going on grass/muddy paths etc. You get what you pay for and I would recommend getting something sturdy that is built to last. I'm expecting my second child soon and I know it will see them through to toddler-hood too as it's still in perfect working order.

My advice would be to make a list of what you are looking for and be prepared to find that no single pram will probably meet every single requirement perfectly! Our priorities were lightweight, easy to fold (some are so tricky!), has an attractive carrycot option, can be parent or world facing, lasts as long as they need it, would fit in our city car boot, can manage off road. Go to John Lewis or Mothercare and ask an assistant to help you narrow it down based on your list of needs, and I'd recommend trying to push them with a weight in (U know JL have weighted dolls, not sure about Mothercare) as some prams are lovely to push with no weight in but impossible to steer once you get to having a toddler weight in them.
