So have unplugged everything so not overloaded. Tried appliance by appliance but still tripping. An electrian friend has been out quick this morn but cant see whats wrong.

I have Briyish Gas Homecare cover and plumbing and electric is with EOn. Just wondering if electrics are covered by any of it?

Do you have outdoor lights / electrics, OP?

This is what our intermittent tripping boiled down to - damp in one of the outdoor sockets.

Very very frustrating for you - hope you get it sorted.

All sorted. It was moisture damage to the cable that connects electrics via the circit from house to garage. Outside cable which is prob 25 years old!

Def adding electrics to my BG Homecare cover! Thrown all my fridge and freezer foods out as been off for 3 days do going to see what my eccess is on my home insurance to see if it's worth claiming
