If you hate cooking but want to eat well, and buy into some kind of food provider service, what is it?

My DH and I both work full time, with long-ish commutes and a young baby. I get in at 6.15 having picked up the baby from childcare. DH gets home around 8ish at the earliest.

Both of us absolutely hate cooking. If I could I would have beans on toast every evening, I’m just so not bothered by evening meals. But we also want in theory to eat something proper in the evening which is healthy. I wouldn’t want to wait until my DH got home to eat, so really it’s up to me to cook.

Does anyone sign up for some kind of service that provides this? Frozen meals that aren’t completely shit maybe? Hello Fresh style stuff that’s maybe quicker than what they provide?

Also, I am not a batch cooker. Our weekends are completely full and I have no time/inclination to spend time cooking for the week then.

Any recommendations v welcome!

Gousto and mindful chef are (better) alternatives to hello fresh imho.

Pick the 30 minutes or under recipes.

Cook is also good

There's a new service called Parsleybox that provides room temperature storable meals, if you're short of freezer space.

Gousto is great. Id buy for 4 though and freeze some portions because its much better value.
