Last year he got me a steam mop and a pair of trainers .

Slightly mortified. Not sure how he expects me to pour myself into the body stocking (plus size) and I've never owned a vibrator (aged 47, DH 50 and together 25 years)!

We have adult/teen DC still at home. God knows where I'm going to hide the damn thing. DD was scandalised when she found a pregnancy test I'd 'hidden' months before when she helped me move our bed to clean under it.

A few tins of Lidl own brand beans and spaghetti loops from my sister... And nothing else. Not even a Twix.

It was all I had to open for Christmas and literally looked like a food bank parcel.

I've LOL a LOT at this thread. I kept picturing your family all sat round. "Mum's turn to open one"....

And the slippers really tickled me, they're so incongruous.

Purplehammer - DH asked me what I was laughing it when I read yours. Genius. I love them in the form of thank you notes! Very funny!!!
But it was on Only Connect the other night, that the gifts are cumulative. So on Day 1 it's just the P in the P Tree.

On Day 2 it's Two Turtle Doves AND the P in the P Tree.
Day 3 its 2 French Hens PLUS another 2 TDs and another P in the P Tree.
