Had a lovely meal but didn't go overboard as it was buffet style and there were 11 of us and was worried that it might not be enough for everyone. I then ate too many roses and quality streets!! Travelling back home, ds has just asked me what's for tea and I've realised that I'm actually quite hungry! Grin

RandomUsernameHere · 25/12/2018 21:50

Definitely more than on a normal day!

MyNameIsNotSteven · 25/12/2018 21:54

Prosecco bottle no 3?! Fuck me, I polished off a whole bottle of Champagne over the course of the day (as well as a couple of glasses of mulled wine) but three bottles and I'd be hospitalised!

YouSmellOfBeefAndCheese · 25/12/2018 21:54

I have eaten so much I feel emotional and like my body is 99% sugar.
Also I can’t stop farting Blush

HalloumiGus · 25/12/2018 21:56

We didn't even manage pudding. I am lying on our sofa like a beached whale occasionally staggering off for more prosecco 🐳🐳🐳

MsMiaWallace · 25/12/2018 21:57

Blushit was shared prosecco

No! I’ve been cooking and hosting all day, was lovely though but after cooking 2 joints and all the sides I had a child’s size dinner as was sixknof looking at it. So much food in our house it’s ridiculous, but I fancy a fried egg sandwich 😳

Fadingmemory · 25/12/2018 21:58

About to eat cheese. Lunch to end all lunches was at five. I wasn’t going to eat anything else all day. And those chocolates look good...

Calzone · 25/12/2018 21:58

We had sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns and toast for brunch.

Chocolate

I was so stuffed all day.

Soup for dinner.

Ellieboolou27 · 25/12/2018 21:58

Sick of looking at it 😂

Figgygal · 25/12/2018 21:59

Apart from dinner at 3.30 which didn't even end in pudding or cheese I've not eaten anything yet feel like I'm going to explode

So not fair!!

Frouby · 25/12/2018 21:59

Am in bed after eating constantly due in part to a mild hangover. Which I zapped when I started on the desperados while peeling veg at 12am. We ate at 5pm, have been picking ever since, huge bowl of trifle, an obscene amount of piggies in blankets, stuffing and cold roast potatoes.

DH just muttered something about cheese and biscuits tho. I could do a couple with a sloe gin and dry ginger I reckon.

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/12/2018 22:01

I've had quite a lot of cheese, not enough though, I'll be having more soon.
Christmas is all about cheese.

travailtotravel · 25/12/2018 22:07

I'm on my 2nd peppermint tea of the day - really helps with the horrible uncomfortable feeling too full feeling. MiL just gone back home - we had a little buffet of cheese etc before she left. I could barely manage anything!

JosephineHass · 25/12/2018 22:09

No- and that is only and just due to my sore tooth.🦷🤬
Other wise I would be already fully stuffed.😂🤪

SleighBellsRing · 25/12/2018 22:16

I think for the first time ever I didn't overdo it on the food or drink front today. Enjoyed everything I ate but not too much of anything. In bed with a cup of tea now and having a chat with DD about what she enjoyed the most today.

thighofrelief · 25/12/2018 22:17

I'm contemplating some cheese but thinking about it I've had a lot.

Chocolate for breakfast (maybe 8)
Fairly normal roast chicken dinner
Tiny piece Christmas cake
About 7 pieces fudge

Or maybe it's not enough! Certainly haven't given up yet.

Flower777 · 25/12/2018 22:27

I’m really full and it’s only 5.30 here.

I had an avocado for breakfast.

An enormous vegetarian roast dinner.

Then I had some Yule log.

I’m so full still. I actually don’t think I can eat as much as I used to which is disappointing. I’ve got home made mince pies and home made brandy butter waiting for me!

Corbynscat · 25/12/2018 23:36

Stick a fork in me I’m done Grin

Breakfast: porridge and a Buck’s Fizz
Lunch: standard Christmas dinner minus the turkey but a lush veg stack thing instead
Prosecco a bottle to myself cos Christmas
Sweets in front of the queens speech
Dinner: toast with butter and marmite and a slice of chocolate cake

Happy days

notacooldad · 25/12/2018 23:39

I skipped breakfast and we had our dinner a table 13.00 hrs.
I had a glass of wine with the meal. I had a piece of strawberry gateaux.

Apart from a few sweets and a glass of pineapple and soda water that's it.
I'm not hungry.

Sarcelle · 25/12/2018 23:44

No, not eaten much. Turkey dinner and nothing else.

But lots of wine. Lots and lots of wine.

PickAChew · 25/12/2018 23:59

Not really eaten huge amounts but feel absolutely stuffed. I started the day with whingey guts, though, so that was never going to magically improve.

Juanbablo · 26/12/2018 01:49

I ate too much and now I'm suffering for it! We had a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit. The best Christmas dinner we've ever done. Then some tea and biscuits at about 8. I have heartburn and ds2 has earache. I really want to sleep but can't.

Flower777 · 26/12/2018 02:03

I am really proud that I managed to squeeze in a mince pie and brandy butter this evening.

PomBearWithoutHerOFRS · 26/12/2018 02:49

Oh yes! We have been living on oven chips, pasta, and boiled freezer scrapings for months, and went to my mam's for Christmas Eve tea, Christmas lunch and tea, and are back today for leftover fry-up and buffet tea...
It has been gorgeous to be FULL for once, and I am surprised none of us has exploded or been sick!
