I need help naming my ironing business

Throw them all at me!

Is it better to include town name in the name? I don’t want to have anything with iron maiden or iron maid etc as there is already a local business with a name on that theme.

Mablethorpe · 24/12/2018 17:27

A long time ago I ran an ironing business. I named it the Iron Lady😁

@KatnissMellark
As soon as I read the title 'Flat Out' popped into my head too!

IroningBusiness · 24/12/2018 20:14

mable a friend suggested the Iron Lady too but Mrs Thatcher wasn’t very popular round here so we decided it might do me more harm than good Grin

Gruffalosgrandma · 24/12/2018 20:27

Pressed for time

AhhhHereItGoes · 24/12/2018 20:31

Nicely Pressed
All on Board
Iron-IC
All Ironed Out
No PressUre

LadyWithLapdog · 24/12/2018 20:33

Smooth Operator

Amibeingnaive · 24/12/2018 20:42

Dramatic Iron-y

Isn't it Iron-ic?

Iron Lady (not one for the socialists)

Stop the press

Pressing matters.

I'm so sorry

Amibeingnaive · 24/12/2018 20:43

Omg. You have to use Smooth Operator.

It makes me want to set up an ironing business just to name it that (I don't even do my own ironing - it's outsourced to a much less imaginatively named enterprise).

Womantheonlykind · 24/12/2018 20:43

All Ironing Steam Service

because A comes first when a search lists results and it does what it says on the tin, I agree a location could be useful in there too.

6demandingchildren · 24/12/2018 20:46

Iron maiden

Womantheonlykind · 24/12/2018 20:46

How do ironing services make money? Our local service does a bin bag full (up to 6kg) for £25, that seems ridiculously cheap to me because that would take me donkeys to do!

rabbitfoodadvocate · 24/12/2018 20:54

@Watto1 You get my vote!

PlaymobilPirate · 24/12/2018 21:01

Where do you live?

BertBox · 24/12/2018 21:07

Impressive Ironing

*gets coat

IroningBusiness · 24/12/2018 21:08

I actually live in NI and have been very tempted to call it “Norn Iron” Grin but there are families locally with a surname very like “Norn” and I think I might be confused with them and also “Norn iron” seems to be part of the name of a few jokey piss taking pages on Facebook so I suspect my business wouldn’t be at the top of any internet searches.

A Pressing Engagement

DingDongDenny · 25/12/2018 11:22

Please call it Norn Iron. I'm from there and that really made me laugh. I think a good pun name will get shared more so people will notice and talk about you.
