Shiiiit vomiting bug weekend before christmas

DH and DS have had heavy coughs / colds for the past few days and DS has also had some vomiting and diarrhoea- not too bad though and he's been fine in himself (18mo). Well, last night at 7pm after feeling awful for a couple of hours, i started to vomit and could not stop - between 9pm-11pm I was throwing up every 10 minutes and then it went to hourly. Last sick at 6am. Arrggghh!!! I have no other symptoms apart from nausea and vomiting - but I have so much to do, feel shit, hardly slept and still being sick. Also TERRIFIED DS is going to get it and praying it's actually food poisoning rather than something contagious. Not really needing advice, more commiserations!! Currently sipping water and despairing at my to-do list!

I'll join you in feeling sorry for yourself! All 4 of us in our house are full of cold and have horrible coughs. 3YO threw up all over his bed last night night. Got him all cleaned up and in with us just for him to be sick all over our bed.

Really hope if the rest of us catch it, it's tomorrow. DH and I are both in work Xmas eve and the DC have to go to my parents!

We've all got it - it's become an annual tradition. Gets us out of seeing people we can't be arsed with though.

I had this last week and it ruined my expensive pre paid Xmas do plus my party dress will have to wait another year for its first outing. I gave it to dd but my other kids plus dh seem to have escaped.

I've been up most the night with D&V. Feel a little better today, but now to see if my DC get it SMH

Not been sick (yet) today, stomach aching, not eaten anything since Friday lunchtime, cracking headache...definitely better than I was though so that's something!

I’ve got worse. Still in bed, totally wiped out. Christmas is cancelled here.

Yesterday I felt a bit rough so went for a lie down. Half an hour later I threw up a few times, at least I managed to get to the bathroom. Everyone else stayed away from me but did keep popping up to check I was ok. Last night DS went to sleep but threw up all over bed / carpet at 11pm, closely followed by DP 5 minutes later and DD half an hour after that. Clearing up sick when you have the bug yourself is no fun.
My DF was due to drive to us today for a few days. He has cancelled. Don’t blame him but gutted. Just hope we all recover to some extent by tomorrow. Wondering about decontaminating with bleach ... ugh.

Well, it's possible that DS6 just has his usual "react to any kind of virus with flu like symptoms" thing happening, but if it's something contagious I'll soon know. He was sick on my face at 3am

Oh dear, fingers crossed some uber recovery goes on today. I am quite a bit better today, no longer feel the need to lay in bed with the lights off. Hoping to be at about 80% by tomorrow.
