I'm joining this club. I think my best bet at the moment might be just to do Christmas entirely by candlelight as I'm sitting here in the biggest mess ever wondering what the bare minimum is that I can get away with.

I'd quite like to be all happy and calm and rested this Christmas. I think my family would like that too. It's not a speciality of mine. So hoover, tidy, wrap presents or sit and crochet with tv on?

I deffo need to put the bedding back on the bed though. It would be uncomfy on the bare mattress.

It isn't Christmas for four days. Plenty of time to shop, wrap and cook.

I can't imagine the sort of Christmas that needs 12 days of prepping.

DH is doing the shop in a bit. I'm meant to be tidying the kitchen after breakfast but I'm just twatting about here

I haven't done any food shopping, or wrapping, or cleaning. It's 1am here. I plan on sleeping in.

I have decanted the sloe gin. Therefore fuck all else is getting done, because I'm going to drink some of it I have also iced he Christmas cake, which looks like the toddler did it nothing to do with the gin honest
