Why do some schools still not have a healthy eating lunchbox?

I'm shocked at what some people like this YouTuber gives her kids for lunch - sausage role, crisps, ice gems, junky breakfast bar, packet of grapes and a caprison.

I'm shocked that there are still schools where this passes as an acceptable lunch. In mine one of those junk foods would be allowed in on Fridays but 80-90% is banned.

I don’t think I have read a post so ridiculous on here in a long time, my daughters school is seriously failing and is in special measures, they can’t keep teachers and are failing terribly yet the school are supposed to on top of there massive workload police what I choose, as a parent, to feed my child! What absolute nonsense! My dd has crackers and cheese or a dairylea dunker, yoghurt or a rice cake bar, fruit and crisps every single day. I am an adult I can choose what to put in her lunch box based on her likes and dislikes and would never ever expect her already stretched teachers and dinner ladies to tell me that she couldn’t eat it! Just madness!

I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with a sausage roll I think a sausage roll and a kitkat is a pretty standard lunch, which is why I object to lunch box policing Hmm
